These are proposed service terms for owner and legal review, not a legal certification. No registered entity, jurisdiction or governing law has been invented. Existing writers are not silently enrolled into new licensing terms by this draft.
Using Pallantide
Use the service only if you may lawfully do so and meet applicable age and identity-provider requirements. Do not use it to target children below the applicable age of digital consent. Keep your account access secure and do not impersonate another person. Local profiles and PINs do not substitute for device security.
Your stories remain yours
You retain whatever rights you hold in your original stories, dialogue and images. Pallantide does not claim ownership of your creative work. Do not publish material unless you have the rights and permissions needed to share it.
Permission to publish — proposed scope
If approved as service terms, publishing would grant Pallantide only the non-exclusive permission needed to store, reproduce, format, display and deliver that selected content to readers, and to moderate or back up the service. This permission would not transfer copyright, create an unrelated commercial resale right or grant an AI-training license. It would apply to the published copy, not automatically to unpublished local drafts.
Deleting publication ends routine public serving of the database content, subject to technical caches, existing reader copies, safety/legal requirements and backup handling that the final policy must specify. The final wording and a notice/acceptance process for existing writers need legal review before activation.
Acceptable use
Do not publish unlawful, abusive or infringing material; threaten or harass others; disclose private information without permission; distribute malware; attempt unauthorized access; or overload the service. Fiction should not be used as a pretext to harm real people. Report inappropriate Community content using the available report controls or contact the operator.
Moderation and account actions
The app has reporting, moderator hiding and account-suspension controls. Administrators can manage roles and accounts. Material may be removed or access restricted to address abuse, infringement or operational requirements. Contact the operator with the relevant page link if you believe an action was mistaken. No guaranteed review or appeal response time is stated.
Copyright concerns
Use Contact with the disputed URL, a description of the work and your relationship to it. Do not submit unnecessary sensitive documents. A formal legal-notice procedure and designated agent, if required, have not been established by this draft.
Deletion, backups and availability
Keep your own exports of local writing. Browser storage can be cleared or fail. You can delete your online episodes and Community account through existing controls; local drafts and downloaded reader copies are separate. Hosting, availability and future features may change, and continuous availability or permanent storage is not promised. This does not remove rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
Pricing and changes
There is no checkout or subscription purchase flow in the current app. A pricing plan has not been published; no permanent free-service promise is made.
Material future policy or service changes should be communicated before they take effect. A final effective-date, notification and acceptance process remains an owner/legal decision.
